Terms of Service

Article 1 (Application)

  1. These Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as "these Terms") aim to define the rights and obligations between the developer (hereinafter referred to as "I" or "we") and users regarding the use of FeedCal (hereinafter referred to as "the Service"), and apply to all relationships concerning the use of the Service between users and I.
  2. Any individual provisions separately stipulated by I on the Service shall constitute a part of these Terms.
  3. In the event of any contradiction between the contents of these Terms and the individual provisions, the individual provisions shall prevail.

Article 2 (Definitions)

The terms used in these Terms are defined as follows:

  1. "The Service": The AI calendar assistant application "FeedCal" and related services provided by I.
  2. "User": An individual using the Service.
  3. "Registration Information": Information provided by the user to I for the use of the Service.
  4. "Submitted Data": Documents, images, audio data, etc., uploaded or posted by the user through the Service.
  5. "AI Processing": Automated schedule information extraction processing using Google Gemini API.

Article 3 (User Registration and Eligibility Age)

  1. A person who wishes to use the Service (hereinafter referred to as "Applicant") shall apply for user registration by a method specified by I, after agreeing to these Terms and I's Privacy Policy.
  2. This Service is intended for users aged 18 and older. Users under 18 years of age are not permitted to use this Service. Applicants shall warrant that they are 18 years of age or older.
  3. I may refuse registration if any of the following reasons apply to the application in the preceding paragraph:
    • If the necessary consent cannot be obtained.
    • If the Applicant has previously had their user registration for the Service canceled due to a violation of these Terms.
    • If it is found that the Applicant is under 18 years of age.
    • If I determine that the Applicant is an anti-social force or has any interaction or involvement with anti-social forces.
    • Other cases where I deem registration inappropriate.
  4. If there is any change in the registration information, the user shall promptly notify I of such change by a method specified by I.

Article 4 (Use of AI Processing Service)

  1. This Service uses Google's Gemini API to automatically extract schedule information from the user's Submitted Data.
  2. Users agree to the following when using the AI Processing Service:
    • That Submitted Data will be processed by Gemini API.
    • That processed data will be managed under appropriate security measures.
    • That Google Gemini API Terms of Service and related policies apply.
    • That I do not guarantee the accuracy of the AI processing results.
  3. Users shall not transmit Submitted Data that includes content inappropriate for AI processing (e.g., confidential information unrelated to the purpose of schedule information extraction in this Service, excessively detailed personal information of others, or content infringing on third-party rights).

Article 5 (External Service Integration)

  1. This Service provides integration functions with the following external services:
    • Google Calendar (schedule registration and viewing)
    • Firebase (authentication, database, analytics, crash reporting, performance monitoring)
    • AdMob (ad display)
  2. Users shall use the integration functions after agreeing to the terms of service and privacy policy of each external service.
  3. I shall not be responsible if some functions of this Service become unavailable due to changes in specifications or suspension of external services.

Article 6 (Privacy and Data Protection)

  1. The handling of users' personal information shall be governed by the separately stipulated "Privacy Policy."
  2. Users explicitly agree to the processing of the following personal information:
    • Processing of the user's basic registration information.
    • Provision of Submitted Data for AI processing to a third party (Google).
    • Registration of schedule information to external calendar services.
    • Usage analysis for service improvement, and data usage for ad display.
    • Collection of crash reports and performance data.
  3. Users shall obtain appropriate consent from others before transmitting Submitted Data containing personal information of others.

Article 7 (Prohibited Acts)

Users shall not engage in any of the following acts:

  1. Acts that violate laws or public order and morals.
  2. Acts related to criminal activity.
  3. Acts that destroy or interfere with the functionality of my servers or network.
  4. Acts that may interfere with the operation of the Service.
  5. Acts of collecting or accumulating personal information of other users.
  6. Acts of impersonating other users.
  7. Acts of providing benefits, directly or indirectly, to anti-social forces.
  8. Intentionally transmitting data containing content inappropriate for AI processing.
  9. Using information obtained from the Service for commercial purposes (except with my prior written consent).
  10. Acts of a person under 18 years of age using the Service, or impersonating a person of 18 years of age or older to use the Service.
  11. Other acts that I deem inappropriate.

Article 8 (Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability)

  1. I do not guarantee that the Service is suitable for the user's specific purpose, has the expected functions, commercial value, accuracy, or usefulness, that the user's use of the Service complies with applicable laws or internal rules of industry organizations, or that no defects will occur.
  2. I do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, usefulness, etc., of the results of AI processing. Users shall use the AI processing results after appropriately confirming and verifying them.
  3. I shall not be liable for any damages incurred by the user due to the Service, except in cases of my willful misconduct or gross negligence. However, my maximum liability for damages related to the Service shall be the amount of the usage fee received from the user by I in the most recent one-year period.

Article 9 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

  1. The interpretation of these Terms shall be governed by Japanese law.
  2. In the event of a dispute concerning the Service, the court having jurisdiction over my location shall be the exclusive agreed court of jurisdiction.
